Shhhh! Pretend I am whispering… We are at the U.S. border crossing at Highway 59 near Lancaster, MN, trying to get back into the country.
Harry and the Customs and Border Protection Officer have just gone back into the camper. He confiscated eggs, chicken thighs from a Canadian grocery store and lemons and limes we had brought from home. 😳.

Going into Canada, we knew we had to have well marked dog food from the manufacturer but we were not even asked for Finn’s Veterinary documents, let alone his food. We only showed our passports. This was very formal and serious. I took the picture of the stairs down on the camper from the dirty side mirror after the guys were inside but we were already running a deficit with this young man…I didn’t want to rock the boat. Afterwards, we received a piece of paper from him with a boatload of things they did not want us crossing over the border with and according to this paper we should have been fined. Just so you know, we are coming back home at least a couple of years older and we are definitely wiser!

Finn got to be off lead in the baseball field! He had boundless energy!😊
Little update on my bag. Four more rows to finish up one side. Happy Birthday America! I was not counting on it being so huge!

    1. Maybe I should have heard about your experience before we left!😁. You came through the blog as anonymous so I will hope you remember to share. I’m thinking campers have a rougher time going through because we carry all of our food. Harry says that they probably board all campers to make sure you are not carrying people over. 🤷🏼😊

    1. The guy said Avian flu. But these eggs were from grocery stores. Later, I thought a lot of backyard chicken farmers utilize used egg cartons for their sales. At any rate, we are through and happy to be in the States and closer to you! ❤️
