So, our day to rest from nonstop driving, truly was a day of rest. Not much going on in the nearby town of Mobridge, South Dakota! This city is known as the hub for walleye tournaments! So when we heard there was a walleye wrangler statue called, Walleye Up…we couldn’t resist a short drive to check it out!

Walleye Up…. Pretty awesome made with so many recycled metal parts. But Harry was pretty disappointed he couldn’t ride the fish himself like he did back in….
We’re quite certain this photo I took of Harry riding an actual walleye in July 2019 was the impetus behind the Walleye Up statue in Mobridge. What do you think?
I worked a while on my Happy 250th Birthday America purse. Hmm! Don’t think I will finish it in time!

We have a two stop drive day slated for tomorrow! Hoping for less wind and heat! One can dream.😘
