July 26-27
Yesterday we camped in a park that had poor cell service…. So today is a two for the price of one day! So if you don’t hear from us daily…never fear, we are simply out of range for blogging.
We set our GPS for Yellow Springs, Ohio. We had a nice, semi cloudy day for driving! Check in was at three but when we arrived early at John Bryan State Park…there was a note saying they were out to lunch on the office door. Rather than wait..Harry had a copy of our preregistration form so we set up first in site 11 and checked in when we were thinking of leaving the park. Only to find out we were, actually slated for site 15. Setting up twice in a day…we don’t recommend it.
We spent late afternoon and evening visiting Harry’s sister and family! She served us a wonderful dinner and a chocolate crust peanut butter pie…Yum! thank you, again Faith!
Monday, today, we packed up and headed for Illinois. Good travels day but quite warm! Camping tonight at D & W Lake.
You see the little blonde kitty, there are 3 or 4 of them guarding the campground. Luckily, Finn already has had his kitty experience…he gives them their space.

We missed our travel day yesterday, but thought you might be taking Sunday off Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons loved seeing your first blog yesterday and they love the pics of Finn McCool as your traveling buddy! The covered bridge was really neat and looked in good condition. Peach breakfast looked yummy too. We will be praying tomorrow at Bible study for continuing safe travels for all 3 of you and look forward to more great pics on our travels to Lake Louise. I’ve been researching it and have seen some absolutely gorgeous pics. Has lots of hiking trails! Love to all!! Linda and Dennis

They go back Monday (the 3rd). This Thursday they have open house and find out who their teachers are.
These are exciting times for every child and teacher! Who do we get to share our school day with for the next year? How will the class gel? Will they make or already have friends? Your kiddos will both do great!😍
