Happy Sunday! Genesis 31:49. May the Lord watch between you and me, when we are absent one from another.

We were at this campground some years ago. This is the place where we first saw Trumpeter Swans, it was in the spring and they had babies but we are hoping they will still be around to see tomorrow!
We used to have a terrible tick problem when we lived in Maine. Especially this time of year. And I swear some people are tick magnets in themselves. Anyway, we tried natural remedies which, to be honest, were ineffective and so the local Ranger told us to use these products. Might want to take a look. Some years were way worse than others. Haven’t heard about this year. Good luck. M.E.
What products worked for you? K❤️
We finally used Permethrin to treat clothing and Deep Woods Off for skin. The other option that kind of worked was eucalyptus oil. Leave a small bottle open around the camper and the essences keep ticks away. But if it is a really heavy season, that won’t cut it. There was another product we used on the gardens but I guess you’re not growing veggies or flowers right now?? :). M.E.
Looking so forward to seeing the trumpeter swans and maybe cygnets, too! Colin read E.B. White’s The Trumpet of the Swan this summer for his 4th grade summer reading. He will really be excited!!
We will definitely look for them. I’m afraid we caught them in the spring last time and they will have migrated already… we will try! I loved that book! ❤️K
Hope you see the swans! Stay tick-free!
Well, no swans this year but no ticks either! So it’s a mixed bag!❤️K.
Thankful for NO TICKS!😊
