Vagabond Tales- Roll into Canada

August 6, 2026. Cypress Hills Provincial Park

Fire Rock Campground B55

Wild Horse, Alberta, Canada Border Entry
The Canadian Border Patrol let us in! She is writing down our license plate here! She even thought Finn was cute!
Alberta…where the gas tanks are huge and price is huger! (I’m not sure huger is a word!).
Hiking Cypress Hills/exercising our cramped travel legs!
Wild flowers found just around our campsite. We are taking a guided wild flower hike tomorrow afternoon. We will see if they show us more than we found on our own. Left to right- Yellow Sweet Clover. Pin Cherry or Bird Cherry, Fireweed Bottom picture- Wild Aster
Meadow Salsify- also called goat’s beard. The flower is said to be yellow and resembles our dandelion but is at least two feet tall!
Birch Trees…One of our favorite trees!❤️

  1. Glad no problems getting into Canada. Seems the US is treating them very badly but they are responding as true Canadians always do.. Welcome…Have a good time!! Hugs. Mary Ellen
