February 20, 20025
Little did we know last night that we would leave this “camping Parking lot” in the morning only to be in an unplanned “Parking Lot” for tonight!

About 11:30 we were all thinking about pulling off the four lane in time to celebrate “Hoodie Hoo Day.” If you have been following us for a time…you know. If not…here’s the gist of this fun celebration. Celebrated on the 20th of February every year to help people chase away the winter blues, and Harry and I think it brings spring on quicker. You must stop what ever you are doing and at 12 noon, go outside, where ever you are wave your hands and shout out “Hoodie Hoo.”

It was after our celebration of Hoodie Hooing” that we realized how close we came to having a major accident.

There was another problem that was brewing, inside the cabin it was filling up with propane. We had also torn or nicked the propane gas line to the refrigerator. We knew finding that was over our heads, so we simply turned the propane off. Even more good news was, when the tire burst the one beside it took a hit…still up but very stressed. We drove an hour and a half and Tony gave (sold and installed) us two new tires. We know we weren’t just lucky today but that God in his sovereignty saved us! We thank God for his protection!

Tonight we are at the Pima County Fairgrounds with 50 or 60 fellow campers…another parking lot campground but boy are we thankful for it! Tomorrow we have a 9 am appointment at a camper specialist to see about our propane repair. Our hope is we will be in Lake Pleasant in Peoria, Arizona…the northern edge of Phoenix tomorrow evening. Oh, and I forgot to tell you! When Harry called to tell them at Lake Pleasant that we wouldn’t be there tonight…they refunded our money! Pretty astounding!
Praise the Lord! God was looking over you all! Now on to better days!
