Vagabond Tales- Remember the Alamo

February 16, 2025

Check out the middle picture and how Finn’s left ear is straight up in the air! I’ve never seen that before!
Pretty breezy day!

After attending church, via the web and having more fun with the big blue ball and Finn, we headed out to see the Alamo. We suppose it was so crowded because this is President’s Day weekend but it was difficult maneuvering the crowds!

We learned a lot. I spoke to a gentleman docent and he kept saying it was a senseless tragedy. They could have left and come back. He didn’t buy the never surrender or retreat mantra!
For those of you who have not been to the Alamo…it is smack dab in the middle of downtown! As you can see, by this picture of the Emily Morgan Hotel looking over the Long Barrack wall of the Alamo.
Then on to the San Antonio River Walk and a special dinner!
Dinner was a delight! 1st course…Harry with the tomato bisque and I hat roasted beet salad.
Twilight on the River Walk. The restaurant, Biga is to the second floor, right.
