Vagabond Tales- Look Who the Wind Blew In

February 18, 2024 Topsail Hill Preserves State Park, Santa Rosa, Florida

We had such a nice surprise today! Our son, Ryan and his sons Connor and Spencer popped in. They are here on an ocean fishing trip while visiting a friend of Ryan’s, who has a home close by.

They had a great day fishing in the rain yesterday! The rain and cloudy day made for an excellent day of fishing! They are staying only 25 miles away. Here are some shots from their day fishing.

They had a yummy dinner last night as you can imagine!

Ryan called last night and said they would be stopping by Topsail! It was so much fun to show them around and take them down to the beach!

Of course, Finn was over the moon that they had come to see him!
Spent just a bit of time warming up in the camper.
When we got down to the beach…several of us were wishing we had brought our sunglasses! One of those not quite sunny, odd light days!
Once again, we had the beach pretty much to ourselves!

Ryan treated us to lunch at Three Sons Barbecue.

Their slogan…Beach, Meat, Repeat

They went back to play some Pickleball and we pulled up a church service on our TV.

Challenging the congregation and us over the next 40 days before Easter to spend 10 minutes in God’s presence daily.

    1. I had to ask, too. Most of the peaching looking ones are Vermillion Snapper. They grilled and blackened some and fried the others. Most of the larger ones were not in season so they released them.
