Vagabond Tales- Arrived Home Before Hurricane Ian

September 29, 2022 Jonesborough, Tennessee Cherokee Mountain Site- Home

9,863 Miles…1,095 Gallons of Gasoline…10 New National Parks…Final 6 Camping States…26 Camp Sites…53 Days…1 Blown Tire…2 Oil Changes… 1000 Chigger Bites

Finn proved to be a terrific camper on this trip! He started the trip at 41.5 pounds and ended it at 59 pounds…for a total gain of 17.5 pounds.

No sooner did we drive up our drive and unhook before Chris and Michelle delivered dinner! We had a wonderful time checking in and catching up! And…I didn’t have to cook!

Dinner is served!⭕️❌

We thank you for going along with us for the ride! Your comments, suggestions, and enthusiasm make our trip richer. We set off May 2018 with the idea that we would like to visit and camp in all 48 continental states. We did not blog, in fact, we really hadn’t even shared our itinerary with our sons and their families. Our plan was to check in weekly. It proved to not be very satisfactory for updating everyone especially when on the first trip we rolled and totaled our first camper in the state of Maine. Thus, the Blog was birthed!

Well, it is the end of the trail for THIS GOAL, anyway!
