August 20, 2022 The Grand Teton National Park Signal Mountain Campground

No moose were spotted, even though this is a favorite hang-out of theirs.

We wanted to get out and hike today so we left Finn in his kennel and we hiked around String Lake and up to Leigh Lake. Needless to say…we finally got our steps in. It ended up being a total of 4 miles. We saw deer, ruffed grouse, a chipmunk and squirrel, some humans portaging their boats from the String to the Leigh lake. It was a wonderful afternoon hike!

They are larger than the wild blueberry bushes we have on our mountain.

What great pictures of the past several days. God’s creation is so amazing and breath taking. Thanks for sharing. Love you both. Dad, take care of that ear infection!
He’s taking his antibiotic daily… but can’t help but have some pressure from these elevations. Glad the two of you are getting away! Make some new dreams!❤️
You 2 are looking good! How is Harry’s ear infection? Is Finn’s sprain better?
Thanks for sharing your trip!!
Harry is taking his medications but with the elevation he still has some pressure. The campsite tonight had a nice dog run. We went against doctor’s orders and let him off lead in there. He was by himself and we didn’t run with him or get him riled up. Still a bit lame but he has been feeling pent up…guess that is because he has been pent up. The trip has been great! Seeing so many new things! ❤️
Continuing to pray for Harry’s ear to clear up and Finn’s sprain to heal and for continued good weather and safe travels! Love you all
We have been so blessed on this trip! The weather has been amazing! Although it is warm during the day…the evenings are always cool enough we don’t have to run the air conditioner at night. I was thinking of your Mom yesterday, Diane…Did she do race walking in the senior Olympics? I was trying to remember. We have a friend now who is doing open swimming in the senior Olympics. Your dad was doing something, too wasn’t he? Maybe I am misremembering. Love you!❤️
