August 17, 2022. Grand Teton National Park… Signal Mountain Camp Ground
Finn was still limping markedly this morning when we arose so we felt it best to check out his left front ankle with a veterinarian before we headed into the wilds of the Tetons. Fortunately, Dr. Richard Schwhan of Altitude Veterinary Clinic was able to work us in early this morning. He thinks it is just a sprain, gave him an anti-inflammatory and relegated him to only on leash exercise for a while! Picture below…The many poses of Finn waiting for Doctor Schwhan and then the Doc himself with his vet assistant who had already fallen in love with our wounded base runner!

Harry lasted 3 minutes!

I have memories of shaving with ice-cold water at Jenny Lake Campground decades ago. Glad you’ve finally reached spectacular scenery. Take good care of Finn.
Yes! It took us all this time to our main focus!❤️. We will check ourt Jenny Lake. We can tell the drought has hit this area very hard! The water is very low in the lake by our camp site…Jackson Lake. Pictures tomorrow!
Glad your wounded warrior is not badly hurt. Hope he is soon back to his usual self. He always looks so happy
