Started our morning off with our home church (First Christian Church of Johnson City, Tennessee) online. Our pastor, Ethan Magness has been doing a sermon series called…”Glad You Asked!”. We have really been enjoying it and have learned a lot.

Winter Hiking

pull-offs that you could settle in for a special lunch or some conversation.
A bit too cold for much of that to take place today.

Chilly Hike to Indian Falls

Note the icicles at the top. It was 35 degrees for our walk.

hike first and then tackled the 25 foot waterfall trail. Both fairly easy but there was a bit of elevation change for the waterfall and some slippery rocks.

rhododendron at 35 degrees. The leaves seem happier the warmer it is. Easier to see the difference in person, perhaps.

eye since it was purchased in Johnson City, TN. at Cate’s Music.

On to Florida tomorrow!
Love the waterfalls and glad it’s you–not me–hiking in the cold and ice to see them.
If you had asked who was from Fort Payne, I would have known the answer. Dan
The temperature here in Blackwater when we arrived was 52°. Hoping the frigid weather has left us. We shall see?🙂
I loved the band Alabama! They were at the Bristol Race track last year and I could not get tickets.😞
As always, great pictures. Praying for warmer weather for you guys.
How is your knee holding out? Is your arm better? You know me, I have a thousand questions. 😃
Be safe,
Our love and prayers
So far the knee is holding out. It is a bit early according to the doctor for me to be using it but it isn’t paining me. Still some numbness in the arm but it is not consistent. Will probably have to get it checked out at home. Skies are sunny today! Yay!
Be careful and don’t overdo it!
Love you💓
Going to be careful!
