Most of you know, Harry is a board and card game maker. One of his most recent is Parksapalooza-Virginia. It features all of the VA state parks. Last week we visited one and yesterday and today we have visited two more. As we have test played his game we have talked about the parks and their amenities. Below you will see a snapshot of his game and the last two Virginia parks we have visited.

Bear Lake State Park

Our drive today took us across two unique bridges…or to be more precise tunnels.
The Hampton Tunnel

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel

Can’t imagine how they built this! It is a 17.6 mile bridge-tunnel that runs over and under water, as deep as 95 feet in some places and as shallow as four feet in others.
Kiptopeke State Park

1949- 1964 the Virginia Ferry Corporation owned the land and ran a ferry service from here.

On to Delaware tomorrow!.
Cool!!!! Looks like great fun. M.E.
Fun to hear from you! Hope you two are well and staying healthy!❤️
Love to hearing about your your travels. I went on a lake tour in Australia in a concrete boat ~ it really did float! Hugs Judy

We had never heard of a concrete boat, Judy! We learn something new every day!😃
Beautiful pictures, as always! We sure have missed you guys today. We have missed our great partners. We have missed playing pinochle. Dave still says, “play, play, play!” 😂
Tell Onyx that we have missed all of her attention too.
Praying for great weather and great adventures ahead for the next 2 weeks.
Stay safe,
Love you guys,
Dave and RuthAnn
We miss you, too! We will think of you at your potato digging fest tomorrow!❤️🥔❤️
I recognize those cards and the parks (but not the ranger card?). Glad you’re off to a great start!
The Ranger is the new secret addition from one of our play testers…Cheryl Bowers!❤️
