Psalm 118:24. We started off the day joining our home church on line.

These are the tallest dunes in North America.

we just used Harry’s long arm. The weather was much nicer today in the upper forties! Great hiking weather!

Never knew they had anything like it!

Overlook to see the full field of dunes. It was only a mile each way but… if you have an overlook that means you must climb UP!

and we are pretty high!

The name of the campground we are staying in is Sand Dunes Recreation. It is pretty quirky but when you get here it makes perfect sense! It is built around a hot springs swimming pool and the locals visit it regularly. Harry really cannot do the hot temperatures so rather than pay the $30.00 admission, we took a tour of it and I was the nosey lady taking pictures of people in their swimming suits! Boy was it crowded! The water runs about 90 degrees. They also have soaking tubs…the highest in temperature was 110 degrees. If we were there with kids…no doubt we would have had to make a visit to the hot springs. But as it is we passed!

If YOUR numbers are correct, 2310 ft.
Looks like you had a great adventure. Dan
