***Tonight at 12:00 Eastern Standard Time the contest from the 18th will close. We were looking for a simple math problem answer but with global mapping and even some who went so far as to go up on our deck and measure…we will be accepting several answers. April 19, 2021 Marcos, Colorado- Mesa Verde RV Resort
Today was pretty much a travel day for us! But we had some beautiful views, a sunny day, and smooth trekking! Pictures to follow.The beauty of snow without having to drive in it!We passed Wolf Creek ski resort and they were skiing! Of course, by the time I got my camera out I had missed the shot. You must be camera ready at all times! A photograph is the pause button of life! Twin Buttes of DurangoPagosa Springs- We love these little mountain towns we drive through! We were in need of a cup of coffee so we stopped at The Lift!This is probably the closest we will get to riding a ski lift this trip. Their coffee was delicious and Harry had a chocolate muffin that he highly recommends should you be in the area!When registering, the gal at the desk handed Harry a park rule information sheet. Right at the top it states -“ Frowns are not allowed. If you feel compelled to have one, leave it at the dump station and pick it up when you leave.” No frowns here!Just some examples of some altitude issues. Containers expanded to almost exploding. I make our own dressing, which is oil and vinegar, primarily but have to take it out of the fridge to have the oil come to room temperature before we use it. Last night in the process of sitting out and warming, the cork blew and flew about 6 feet into the air.
