Vagabond Tales- New Park- Old Friends

When planning our trips, Harry tries not to drive on Sunday but sometimes it just can’t be helped. Today we joined First Christian Church on the road! Since Covid, it has been so nice to be able to gather along with others across the town and country to worship God all together!

Because of the date…3.14 they were giving away pies during the service and believe it or not…I got my answer on-line in first and so I won a pie, as well, as a person in the live service. That was “Pietacular”!

While in the southwest, we sort of fell in love….No, I guess that is wrong…We REALLY fell in love with Buc-ee’s. Today we found one in Georgia. Harry says it is a travel center on steroids! 😃. He grabbed some lunch and the truck filled up with gas. I just took pictures of the cute beaver! Have you ever been to one? If you get a chance…it is an experience!

And, if not…I see a beaver in your future! 👀

This is our last stop on our trip. Fort Yargo State Park in Georgia is beautifully equipped with opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, boating, fishing and they even have a yurt village. Our friends, Charlie and Suzanne Buchleiter have joined us for this last leg! We haven’t seen them for about a year and so this is a great treat for all of us and will give us time to catch up. We have two lovely camp sites side by side on the Marbury Creek Watershed.

Charlie and Susanne❤️
