Vagabond Tales Go to Town

We took a day and toured historic Thomasville, Georgia. Pleasant day but people were out in droves. Thus, we didn’t stay as long as we might have.

Perhaps not so many in this picture but since Covid…it really seems strange to even be around more than 3 people at a time. Have you experienced that!

Below…One of the strangest stores I’ve walked into.

I guess the buck drew us in.
Trophy Hunters see Harden!
Spring has certainly sprung here!

A bit out of town they had a lovely rose garden! They certainly were not at their peak but there were many to see and smell!

Meanwhile back at the campground they had this wonderful lending /swapping library. For years reading was a fabulous pastime for me. Since my recent eye issues I am listening to my books rather than reading them. A campground is a perfect place to put one of these and it is well stocked, too! Such a neat idea…we have several of these at home!

  1. Karen, I feel the same way. It seems strange, and still a little frightening, to be around people. Even though I have had both doses of the vaccine I still put on a mask when I am around anyone.

  2. Looks like a charming little town. But I’m sure glad you made it out of that store without being stuffed yourself! Really odd.
