Vagabonds Get a Great Sendoff… Final Stop Today…One of Florida’s First State Parks

The minute we opened our door this morning these two
were waiting for us and stayed to see us off! So cute!
On-line church this morning with First Christian Church in Johnson City, TN.

Our trip today took us to one of the first State Parks in Florida…Mike Roses Gold Head Branch State Park. The topography here is rolling sand hills, a deep ravine which we may visit tomorrow where the Gold Head Branch begins, many marshes and two lakes.

We are back in Lob Lolly Pine country.
Big Lake Johnson looked more like Big Lake Marsh! But you can see it was a lovely day…Temps 85 degrees…birds and frogs made for nice background music..
Our mystery today…something was making VERY loud sounds from inside this sandy hole. Never could see him so it still remains a mystery.

The last two photos are to show you we really did bring Onyx with us and to show off the hanging Spanish Moss from the trees. Love the sun coming through it!
