Vagabond Tales- The Silver Lining on a Rainy Day- Dramatic Skies

Similar to several national parks, Saguaro has 2 sides…east side of Tuscan and the west side of Tuscan. We did the west yesterday and today was the east… we had a rainy evening and morning and didn’t get out until the afternoon. We had a private Lenten service in our camper for church, had lunch and headed out. You will notice this section is much greener so the cacti don’t stand out as much as on the west side. Now how much the rainfall played into that, I don’t know but we had already been warned the day before that it would be greener. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Cactus Forest Loop. 8 mile drive
We noticed new life and new flowers here that we hadn’t observed yesterday.
Raise your hand if you can see the polar bear.

Tonight’s sunset…

  1. WOW…
Such beautiful pictures! You definitely have to do a book on this trip! Many people would love to see these pictures! A lot of people cannot travel and you make it possible to travel with you guys! Great job Karen!
I absolutely love the sunsets, but all of the pictures are great. Love the picnic table out in the middle of nowhere.
Did not care much of the snake and spider. Lol
Be safe and continue to have a safe, blessed journey!
    Love you guys!💕😊

    1. Ha! I think that snake picture is one of my best! He even opened his eye and looked at me when I got close to the glass! Head out to California tomorrow. Almost ready for an oil change!😀
