We so enjoyed our time in Franklin with Ryan’s family! Saw the beautiful new deck project they have had going. Saw all the Grand’s new bedrooms, too! Viewed a great soccer game, celebrated Ryan and Leslie’s mom’s Birthday along with attending church at Strong Tower in Nashville to join in celebrating one of Connor and Spencer’s friend’s baptism. So much fun, we just wish we were closer and it could happen more often!

Montgomery Bell State Park was named after an early manufacturing entrepreneur of the 1800’s. Known as the “Iron Man of the Harpeth”, he played a large role in the economical growth of Middle Tennessee.

I think we can safely say…this weekend’s camping experience was hands down the most crowded we have ever come across and whoa……Drama after drama. At one time we had the camp ranger by our fire discussing the joys of rangering while he evicted the behemoth fifth wheel from the site next to us. All the while, he was watching to make sure they hurried the process. ( They had slipped into a reserved site…but not reserved by them.). Also a roll back was called to take a car away in a site across from us??? Who knows what happened there. Onyx couldn’t keep up with all of the guarding she felt she needed to do to keep us safe from the dogs and squirrels. And then this morning happened…PEACE! So thankful!
So glad you could spend the weekend here with us. Love you!
Exciting trip! Great to be able to see your son & family! Can’t wait to see you on October 21 at Longhorn you celebrate your birthday!
What an amazing trip you, Harry, and Onyx have shared! Making wonderful memories!
