An old wives tale is that if you wash your car it will bring on the rain. We wondered today, if you run your body through a car wash…will it too bring on showers? I chose to use the camper shower this am and Harry ran his body through a coin operated car wash.😳
He had a great, hot shower but it cost him $.75. We’d never experienced that before.
Whether Harry brought it on or not, we had a total downpour practically the whole day. We guessed it was a doing the laundry sort of day.
I must say the Tidy Laundry was pretty tidy! We were in and out in no time. And no strange guys watching us fold clothes like we have experienced in some places.

Tomorrow bright and early we plan to be on the lake…we are preparing for another contest. Hope you are ready!

We both had a spinach frittata and we both succumbed almond poppyseed muffin that tasted like we should have taken another dozen home with us. Not been a good day for the old diet today…I made my homemade pizza tonight.🤨
Our family has spent some quality time in that laundromat over the last few years. I love seeing the pictures of the lodge. Very envious of you guys. Have a blast on the lake and catch some fish!
Yesterday we were not so lucky at the fishing game. Dad got one (not a keeper even though we are on catch and release this trip) and I got zero. Maybe tomorrow. It has been a long time since we have seen so much rain in one day as we have seen today!
