Vagabond Tales- Leave Nothing but Paw-Prints

It was rather rainy yesterday so the three of us hopped into the car, filled up with gas, did a bit of grocery shopping and looked around town. Back at the camper we played a new board game, Flash Point, played our usual card game of Golf and did some reading.

This morning it was 47 when we woke up. Thank heavens for heaters. When it warmed up a bit, we took Onyx to the Dog Park and Dog Beach. No other dogs were in the dog park so it was perfect. Has been a while since she could run off lead and she was thrilled…note the picture with her foaming at the mouth!

She was not too excited about the waves at the beach. Hiking along was more to her taste but it was short lived, they only had a short space sectioned off for us!

The dog park is located right beside the dog beach.

Onyx is none too happy about this sign! She was loving beach walking!

And just for fun…this cooperative game called Flash Point.

We lost the first game but won the second!

  1. I can see by your face that you are having a fabulous, fun, relaxing time! You look so refreshed and calm….and beautiful! Looked like Onyx had a good time at the park. That’s a really nice feature for doggies!

    1. The park is divided by the have dogs and the have no dogs. I think that is a great thing especially if you don’t have one. Not much barking but some! Of course, never Onyx! Great day!

  2. Karen, great tho see your smiling face! What great times and so glad Onyx got to go with you.

    1. Basically we wanted to do this and the only way not to leave Onyx for long stretches of time was to Camp and take her along. She has been pretty good but today was her favorite , I think!
