Thursday, February 28- we kayaked with Silver Springs Kayaking LLC. A wonderful time was spent paddling down the Silver River (For those of you a bit older this is where they filmed the old Sea Hunt movies). 4 hours and 5.2 miles of absolutely breathtaking views! The monkeys and manatees ( Yes, there are monkeys in Florida) must have had photo opportunities elsewhere as we didn’t spot any on our trip but the birds, alligators, damselflies and turtles were out in abundance.
