Vagabond Tales- Ocala National Forest- Salt Springs

We arrived in kid-light last evening, certainly later than we had planned but had to make a stop or two, so that made us late. Walked to the springs with Onyx this morning. No pets allowed. So I got a few pictures while Harry and the girl dog sat in the shade and downloaded an app the park ranger suggested.

This next picture is of the springs… there were people swimming already…One of the girls was complaining the crabs were biting her toes. We will see if we dare to go in…😳 👣

Harry wanted you to notice his legs! We are wearing shorts!

Took a hike this afternoon at the campground. Not too long but plenty warm. Still not seeing very many wildflowers. Have captured those I have seen.

Saw no bears but plenty of swamp! Harry’s not sure he’s too thrilled with wrestling a bear.

  1. Love those pictures too! Everything looks so dry and warm. Super jealous. East TN got 2 inches of rain today…more flooding. You guys went south at the right time.
    love you both.

  2. I love your pictures. Love the sunshine. High winds here today.
Dave said to tell Harry that he looked like he had legs of iron, but to tell you the truth, they look like they are starting to rust and buckle a bit. Lol😊
Some friend he is. I think that they are beautiful….😌
So glad that you guys are having a great time. Wish we were there.
    Love you

    1. Thanks to you and Jim, we have stopped at some wonderful campgrounds! So,fun! Tell Jim, they do have electricity in this campground but we haven’t needed air conditioning at night even in the Everglades! Do need it during the day, though!
