Vagabond Tales- stayed Put and Simply Relaxed

February 24, 2024. Lake Stone Camp Ground, Century, Florida

Sunny and windy today. We took a walk around the park and checked out some of their many fishing piers. Some were wooden and some were land piers stretching out into the lake.
These fingers of land are what I was calling land piers.
This picture is for Connor and Spencer…They wanted to put in a fish cleaning station at their home in Tennessee. We thought this one looked like it would work. There were several scattered around the camp.

I went back to the turtle hole but without my big camera, I just couldn’t get close enough. So below you will see one “kind of good” shot and another “arty” shot…neither are grand but without them you would have nothing to look at today. I did say we relaxed!

The “sorta good” one. Sadly most of the turtles plopped into the water when I came. These were the brave ones that stayed.
This is the “arty one”. I lined trees and reflections to the left hand corner.
Good night, John Boy. Only some of you will get this one. We are that old.
