Vagabond Tales- Sun and Relaxation

February 20, 21 and 22, 2023 Santa Rosa Beach, Florida Topsail Hill Preserve Park – Site 74

This is a compilation of several days here at Topsail. We will be here for another week.

We have been hiking every day, averaging 9,000 to 10,000 steps and that works out to be approximately 3 1/2-4 miles per day.

The pine cones are just now dropping from the trees.
They cover roads and trails, alike.
Another day…the other end of Campbell Lake.
We played the game Qwixx over FaceTime with our friends, Anita and Ken! Harry was the winner for the night…the rest of us couldn’t even show our faces our scores were so bad!
Once again…we are so tickled to be able display the flag at our campground. Another friend of ours, Charlie Buchleiter made this for us! Finn loves posing, as you can tell!.
The Button Bracelet Workshop is set up on our picnicking table.
The park runs a tram to the ocean on the hour until 6:00 pm. This was our first trip on it. We usually walk or ride our bikes down there.
Our walking tired Finn out the last couple days so since dogs are not allowed on the beach, we gave him a break. A short hike for the three of us and Harry and I spent several hours walking the beaches late morning and early afternoon while Finn lounged in the camper.

This 3 mile section of beach has absolutely no buildings built along the dunes!

Not many beach bums out today…just Harry the birds and me!
