Vagabond Tales- The Perfect Kind of Day to Sit Down with a Good Book

September 24, 2022 Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Lake Wissota State Park Site 67

This was to be a driving rest day and the weather encouraged us to do just that. Rain off and on and it being cold just had us hunkered down! Harry could watch the football games on his phone.

We did get out to take Finn for a longish walk to see Lake Wissota. We found out our friend Cheryl spent some time in this area and, I think she swam at this very beach when she was a girl. We will see if the pictures trigger any memories..

This was one of the trails they allowed dogs to hike. The trail was nice and wide, a bit muddy, with poison ivy and burs available if you stepped off of it! Harry and I did fine staying to the trail.
We have so much work left to do with Finn! He is an exuberant child who wants everyone to know they are loved unconditionally. Not everyone wants that kind of puppy love.
No Finn here. He and Harry stayed back at the edge of the woods.
Pretty lake…it looks small here but it gets larger. So I am wondering if this is Cheryl’s beach.
This was before the trip back through the dirt trail.
Our Finn was destined for a foot bath and massage today!
