Vagabond Tales-A Drizzly Drive Day

September 23, 2022 Chippewa, Falls, Wisconsin Lake Wissota State Park. Site 67

We think we have had rain on this trip early on while we slept but other than that…this was the first precipitation we have driven through! We are so thankful to God for His provision on this trip!

We did have a bit of a Finn mishap today as we were walking him on one of our stops..Burs!!! He came into the car and was in a bit of pain. At least 25 burs on his face. Who knows how many he had on his chest and legs. We had to take a bit of time off of our driving to get most of the facial burrs off but I cleared the rest of them when we arrived at Wissota. I am happy to say…he is bur free tonight! We are all needing a good haircut about now…especially Finn. His built in dust mop is getting longer and more efficient at capturing bits of the woodland around us!

‘‘Twas a long day so this sign made us all smile!
Now, THIS is a campsite!

We have a driving rest day tomorrow and then we head to visit my mom in Naperville, Il. for a few days.

Final Contest Winners…we finally found a post office yesterday that had normal business hours. Be on the look out! 👀
