Vagabond Tales- Visit Big Ben

September 21, Medina, North Dakota. Medina City Park Campground Site 6

Well, Ben Morgan is not really that big, but he is Harry’s older cousin by a few years and someone he looked up to as he grew up. So he really is big in that way. He moved to Bismarck, North Dakota to be closer to his daughter Cindy. We had a terrific visit today but of course, we all thought it could have been longer!

On the way to Ben’s home we passed an exit I wish we could have explored more…The Enchanted Highway…Such a cool sculpture! Stands right at the exit. We were on a time crunch to see Ben and Cindy so we just breezed on.
We took this pie, I made already baked to share. Elderberry Pie. One of Harry’s and Ben’s favorites. It was Cindy’s first time tasting it and I have other pies I favor more!
I was negligent in capturing Cindy’s smile on camera so I borrowed this from her. Just want to remember for future times that we were all together!
Family Reunion! ⭕️⭕️⭕️❌❌❌

Medina City Campground…while a bit, squirrelly is at least a place to plug in and sleep tonight…and it is only $15.00 per night. What can one expect?
