September 6, 2022. Port Townsend, Washington. Fort Worden State Park Site 70
***The Vagabond Wheel spins tonight for a contest 2 winner. Thanks to all of you who entered! See below!

After today, every leg we take will bring us closer to home.
Once again…we hit the jackpot today! Weather in the low 70’s, sun was shining and the mountains were clear!

We hiked to approximately 5472 up on Hurricane Ridge. Our phones had no signal and Harry’s altimeter doesn’t work without service.

When we were in Seattle the last few times we really enjoyed stopping at road side markets…we think they have some of the freshest produce around. We stopped at one…took us a few seconds and we were out of there. Stopped at this one on our way home and bought more than our fridge would hold! Wish we had a place like this at home!

You can not be in the northwest, without, seeing totem poles! Harry’s parent’s brought a couple home for Chris and Ryan when they were young! They were small but I loved them! My favorite totem pole was one our friend’s Karol Lynn and Dan kept on their front porch. Alas, it was brazenly stollen off of it one night and it was never recovered. It just hurts my heart when people do that!

We didn’t have all of our usual followers entering for tonight’s drawings so the chances are greater for a win! Fewer names equals better odds!😀
Love the totem poles!!!
And what an amazing Farmers’ Market!! The fruit looks delicious!
Stay healthy and safe!
