Vagabond Tales- Camp Beside the Four Mile Creek

August 9, 2022…Montgomery State Park

Our camper is to the right in this picture. All day long this stream was filled with the sounds of splashing and boisterous laughter! I snuck in for a photo opportunity between groups.

For the most part, Harry and I had a pretty calm and restful day. That type of activity was sorely needed after our crazy day yesterday in preparation and driving! We had some fun in a big field with Finn and then our Franklin, TN family came for dinner and a brief visit! Oh how I wish we had more times around the table like we did tonight! We were able to catch up on everyone’s first day of school and see what adventures are headed their way.

A field like this calls for lots of running with wild abandon!
Waiting…not so patiently for company! Finn was our official greeter!
They prayed us off tonight…we are headed to Babler State Park in Missouri in the morning. ⭕️❌

  1. I hope you include at least one photo of Finn McCool in every blog posting. I’ll look forward to that bringing a smile to my face to start each day. 🙂

    1. So far, he hasn’t acted too surprised at the tight quarters and long drives. We will see if he can stay tough! I will say he was a conversation piece at the campground.❤️
