On February 20th…we had the camper packed for an early morning departure and we were quietly winding down a show on TV preparing to get ready for bed when my left arm started to throb and feel as painful similar to how it hurts when you hit your crazy bone but … a lot more constant. We waited about forty minutes at home and then we decided we better be safe than sorry. You see we have a couple dear friends and a cousin who have either had strokes or heart problems and this was presenting as something more than a fleeting ghost pain in my left arm and hand. They were beginning to go numb! We drove off into the dark night to seek out some better wisdom.

Harry and I spent the better part of late last night and of the wee hours in the morning in the Johnson City Emergency room along with the sick and homeless, and gunshot victims. After hours of waiting…they put me through a barrage of tests and a really good blood-letting when they decided rather than a cardiac issue…I was having a vertebrate problem. They sent us home with a couple prescriptions …muscle relaxants and such. Harry and I have been resting most of the day. We are planning on getting an early start tomorrow! The pain and numbness have been alleviated a bit.
I had tried a few new exercises the day before. They seemed easy enough but I guess I need to take it slow on the Funky Stomping and strutting!😁. You can see it on YouTube and it is very easy but I must have done something to my neck while doing a rigorous stomp!

More about our experimental trip and our first stop in Alabama.
Oh no!!!! Well I’m glad you fell well enough to carry on, but there is no rush, you know??? Maybe sty home a day or so? Hugs! M.E.
And I have to tell you that Harry looks so much like Grandpa
Jay I can’t believe it…
He said that, himself, when he found a picture of Grandpa Jay when Harry was 20. With every year he looks more and more like him.❤️
Oh, no!!! I guess you are camped somewhere in Alabama now. Hope you are feeling MUCH better! Sending love, prayers, and hugs

I misread and thought you had already left. Safe teavels! Thank you! Safely camping in our own bed tonight!😁
I am so sorry, Karen. So glad it was not a stroke or heart attack! Feel better and be safe on your travels!
It was a blessing it wasn’t anything worse! Makes you feel silly for going in, though!
So happy you are ok! Glad you were checked out. Better to be safe than sorry.
Yes, that is what the nurses and the doctor says but still…you feel like maybe you shouldn’t have gone. I am thankful it wasn’t cardiac.❤️
