Note to self and all you campers out there …..DON’T drive over the George Washington Bridge in New York City with a camper! This was our second time…our memory must have failed us! Siri also put us on a cars only road no trucks or cars pulling campers allowed…no signs until you are traveling down the on ramp. She was definitely a mischief-maker today!
We now are nestled in an out of the way park in Connecticut. Salt Rock State Park. Low number of campers but a very high number of mosquitoes! Wish we had Dave’s Thermacell! It kept mosquitoes away from our picnic table in Virginia quite well!
So below…the best and worse of our trek through New York!

The highlight of this drive day, other than getting out of New York alive was this car we passed! I think it looks like a fancy pedicure on wheels! I sent it to our 17 year old granddaughter and asked if it wouldn’t be a cool car to take to college next year. She has been looking for a new ride.

We got our wires crossed and what I had out defrosting for dinner tonight was placed back in the freezer so what do you do when that happens? You make “Toads in a Hole.” Anyone out there make them for your family?

What exactly happened on the bridge? We’ve been over that many times but of course not in a camper but I can’t tell??? Cool car!
One lane was closed and we had to go on the upper deck with the trucks. 😵💫
Oh Good Lord!!!!!!!!!!! I mistakenly did that once in just a car and I thought my time was up…Glad you survived. Hugs. M.E.
LOL 😂
