Vagabond Tales- Take on Stephen Foster Folk Center State Park

After joining the Sunday service at First Christian Church, JC via internet and hopefully leaving the flooding behind…we headed north.

I see a trespasser…do you?
A sunny day! Perfect for wearing my crazy camper leggings!
Stephen Foster Museum
Not too far away from the museum was the Stephen Foster Memorial Camellia Garden I love these sweet flowers. My mother used to grow Peace Roses in her gardens that looked very much like the one camellia in the top right hand corner.
This Clarion tower holds the world’s largest tubular bell instrument. It is supposed to ring out Foster tunes in concerts throughout the day but we didn’t hear any this afternoon while we were setting up. 😢. We shall see if Sundays were an exception.
