Vagabond Tales- #1 Best Camp Shower He Said…. You’ll Love It, He Said…It’s the Small Pleasures That Really Make a Camper’s Day

The plan was to shower, pack up and head out this morning. We would divide and conquer! I would use the camper shower…Harry would use the campground shower. Just as I was preparing to hop in the shower, Harry texted me to think twice and use the campground bathing house because he was scoring it a number one, a slam dunk of a shower…not to be missed. So I loaded up my shower bucket of soap, shampoo and clothing etc. and headed out for the shower of my life. As I was entering, a volunteer cleaner was coming out after cleaning the handicapped shower and she offered me that one. Well, not everything was working exactly correctly in the shower. See pictures below…

The handle on the left controlled the heat…that worked fine. It was that little button thingy on the right that really let me down because it controlled the shower spigots in the next picture.
The lower shower head was the only one that worked. The doctor has said I have lost a few inches of height since I have aged but oh,my, goodness… this was a shower for a contortionist!

76 Miles Later…From Drought to Flood Stage😳

Here we are at Hart Springs. We had to drive through 4-5 inches to get to our campground! We love our secluded site. Below I took a picture of our brochure the camp host gave us! We could not wait to see the springs. We got wrist bands to wear and everything!
Pamphlet picture of the springs. And below you will see the little road we went down to see what we would be planning tomorrow.
Now, THIS was more like 5 feet deep and went on and on and on for days. Needless to say, no springs tomorrow! Stay tuned to see what the Vagabonds do with their day.

What you do when all else fails…
