Vagabond Tales- When They Say Open Range…They Mean …OPEN RANGE

We had just passed this sign and right around the bend was this guy!
He was only 2 feet from my side of the car.
This is where we have camped the last few nights.
Today, spent the day exploring their trails and
their Hopi Native American archeological sites.
We didn’t have to worry about crowds much!
Love the terra cotta sidewalks.
A typical home/ Pueblo…used as a home.
Interesting…this one had a sealed doorway in it.
They said they were usually three stories high.
The whole city looked like this other than the kiva and Pueblo.
We even saw people with containers digging at one of the sites and we found rocks with pieces of pottery that people had found and left.
.Harry picked up a shard to admire but it is still on the rock where he spotted it. Pictures below.
These were everywhere .
