Came rolling in right at dinner time. That’s A LOT of driving! Below you will find views we experienced coming into the Rio Grand Village where we are staying and the actual camping site, as well. Pretty funny going from huge amounts of space between other campers and ourselves last night at San Angelo and what we have for the next few days… “parking lot” camping as our friends, Jim and Jana would call it.

Here is a cute roadrunner… “Beep, Beep“. Running in to say…If you haven’t gotten yesterday’s contest vote in you have until midnight tonight. Drawing is tomorrow.😅

I haven’t been there but Paul has and says it is amazing in some areas. His fondest memory is a horseback ride he thinks was either into the Canyon or around the Rim. Have a good time!! M.E.
Our guide book doesn’t mention horseback trails in Big Bend but we will ask tomorrow at the visitor center. Going out to check the night skies tonight but we may be in too close proximity to the other campers and lights.
Well that was a long time ago so don’t know if it exists anymore, but worth a try! Happy night sky watching. Still overcast here in Houston.
Maybe take a look at this?https://www.foreverresorts.com/blog/2018/02/where-to-go-horseback-riding-in-big-bend-national-park
This looks interesting. We will check it out in the morning. See if our rumps can still sit a horse.
A very different part of the world! It looks very dry there.. What is the temperature? It is 40 here at this time .
The sky is so blue.
