Arrived in the Everglades last night to find our phones have no service at the campground and also…only cold showers!😳. We will be showering in the camper!
Saw this sign coming in…
The middle sign on the post is what captured our interest. And then we woke up to this across the way in the campground.
Rangers say they eat the gray sealer around the vehicle’s windows. Who knew?
Several truck drivers took this very seriously and had plastic bags hanging on wipers and antenna.
Took several short hikes and a boat ride today. Learned the Everglades have both alligators and crocodiles living in the same environment. We got up close to them on the hikes.
This one is an alligator. We saw the crocodiles from the boat and didn’t get such great shots.

Grey Heron
Oh my goodness! So great to get that close to the animals! But cold showered? Can’t do that!
Those vultures looked… um very awesome to have around
Watch out for the Voltures……love u guys love Connor
Connor, Onyx really hated those vultures! She barked her head off and had her fur stand on end when they came near her. Guess she was our protection because they never bothered us. 💙
Ok
It is time to move on! I would hate for the vultures to catch you two.
Lol 😯😄
The pictures are great. I am not to sure about the campground. 😉
So glad that you guys are having a great time. Can’t wait to hear all of the details.
Love you all
Hiking with alligators! You guys are crazy. Great pictures though.
I certainly hope that your vehicle, camper, Onyx, and you all don’t get attacked by vultures, alligators, or crocodiles!!!
Scary stuff
