Vagabond Tales – On the Move

This picture was taken at the edge of the water at our site. Mullet Key Bayou on the gulf

Arriving at the Fort De Soto Campground mid afternoon, we were delighted to see our campsite. This was the site Harry and I stayed up until 12:00 midnight, 3 evenings in a row, 6 months ago to register for. We can see why it is so difficult to get into, now. We are in camping site ..143. 😘. Each site is divided by a swath of palm trees and Palmetto palms for privacy. Looks like some biking may be in the cards for us while we are here. Great biking paths throughout the park.

  1. I’d say the camp site was definitely worth the late nights to secure it – beautiful view! Love you both ❤️

    1. Pam, This is a nice one and the bathrooms are clean, open aired at the roof and showers are super strong and warm. They separate campers with dogs from the campers without dogs…of course, we have a dog but if we didn’t we would be happy for a site in the non dog section. Pretty here!
