Monday, February 18, President’s Day…offices are closed but the weather is lovely (70 degrees) so we decided we would hike even though we would not get our National Parks Passports stamped….we will do that another day.
We were welcomed into the wild heart of South Carolina’s floodplain by a crazy chorus of frogs 🐸. The peculiar thing is, they started up, serenaded us for 5 minutes and then they stopped, never to be heard again for our whole hike. Hattie requested video so here is my try at it!
Due to the large size of the short video…I will post a Congaree Park part 2.
